California Teaching Fellows Foundation is a leading non-profit linking pre-service teachers and college-age leaders to work experiences in schools and after-school programs in our Central Valley.

The program was founded in 1999 as a teacher pathway, providing future teachers a first-hand, classroom experience as they work toward their college degree. The impact is two-fold: providing about 4,500 future teachers and leaders with a valued job experience who, in turn, serve over 50,000 K-12 students daily.

CTFF’s mission is to elevate and equip educators to empower youth, communities, and themselves. Our mission is made possible through our valued district partners and supporters like you! CTFF has always sought to support the whole journey of the future educators we employ. Our program can be viewed as a wraparound service, from supporting our tutors personally, through the Dream initiative, to supporting them professionally, through paid professional development, career guidance, much needed field experience and offering them financial support through our scholarship program.

After over 25 years of experience, we know that in order to fully support the future of our educators, resources like these are necessary.

The Teaching Fellows Gala allows us to raise the funds needed to support the mission of our organization and our long standing scholarship program. With rising tuition costs, increasing costs of living and unending student loan debt, we seek to alleviate the financial stressors for our college students through the Teaching Fellows’ scholarship fund. All scholarship recipients are future educators with a passion for impacting our youth in our communities.

Your support allows us to continue to do the following:

• Invest in our Teaching Fellows Scholarship Program, where over 70 college students are on the path towards becoming future teachers.

• Provide support services such as: Life Coaching, Academic Career Coaching, and The Care Fund (an emergency fund for future educators during their times of need.)

• Continue to develop the next generation of leaders and educators in our community.
