California Teaching Fellows Foundation is a leading non-profit linking pre-service teachers and college-age leaders to work experiences in schools and afterschool programs in our Central Valley and most recently, Sacramento County.
The program was founded in 1999 as a teacher pathway, providing future teachers a first-hand, classroom experience as they work toward their college degree. The impact is two-fold; providing future teachers and leaders with a valued job experience who, in turn, serve over 30,000 K-12 students daily.
Support the Mission of our Foundation
After nearly 20 years of experience, we know that in order to fully support the future of our educators resources like these are necessary.
The Teaching Fellows Gala allows us to raise the funds needed to support the mission of our organization and our long standing scholarship program. With rising tuition costs, increasing costs of living and unending student loan debt, we seek to alleviate the financial stressors for our college students through the Teaching Fellows’ scholarship fund. All scholarship recipients are future educators with a passion for impacting our youth in our communities.
Your support allows us to continue to do the following:
- Provide Scholarships to future educators.
- Provide the Dream Initiative to our tutors (a personal support wraparound service to future educators). More information about the Dream Initiative can be found on our website.
- Continue to develop the next generation of leaders and educators in our community.
