Please Note: During your session, you will be participating in these activities in order to better “paint a picture” of the activities being covered. Please wear comfortable clothing as we will be conducting some activities outside if weather permits.
Participants will learn and be involved in a series of team building activities designed to help create Leaders and to get to know one another. Participants will also take part in activities that will require you to act outside of your comfort zone. The ultimate goal of each team building activity is to help identify the qualities and special contributions of each individual and to challenge your students to work as a team.

In this course you will be able to grasp various coaching philosophies ranging from elementary to a professional level. You will also be prepared to teach fundamentals of each sport as well as the rules and regulations attached to each game. Guest speakers, camps, and activities will flow with this class each month. Come prepared to move as you will experience this class many times as the athletes that soon enough you will be training.

The NASA Beginning Engineering, Science, and Technology (BEST) activities guides have been designed to bring the principles of engineering alive to younger audiences. The activities can be used as in-school curriculum or after-school clubs; as a set or individually. This course is taught by a certified NASA educator.
